I became interested in the benefits of nutritional therapy after significantly improving the symptoms of irritible bowel syndrome (IBS), acne, PCOS and asthma simply by making changes to my diet.
I undertook my studies to become a nutritional advisor at the Kevala College of Holistic Therapy after which I continued to Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist (including clinical practice) at Natural Healthcare College. I have since completed a diploma in Naturopathic Iridology with Holistic Health College and also a foundation in ME and Chronic Fatigue with The Chysallis Effect where I have completed training to become a Trauma Informed Wellbeing Coach.
I am a committee member and registrar for the NNA (Naturopathic Nutrition Association), a member of the CNHC (Complementary Natural Healthcare Council), Member of the GNI (Guild of Naturopathic Iridologists) and associate member of the GNC (General Naturopathic Council).
Sam is a tutor and mentor at Natural Healthcare College. Students at NHC are given training which is a mix of online and face to face learning covering all the National Occupational Standards for Nutritional Therapy.
